Help for Vicars, Pastors and Priests

Welcome to help and support
for all Christian ministers

We start with the growth of Twitter and Facebook

Paul became “all things to all men” that “By all means” he might be used by God to save people.

Now almost every young person is on Twitter and/or Facebook. It's virtually essential for them if they want to be like all their friends. Paul's attitude expressed above makes me think that he would go there - because it's where the people are.

As you will know there are some very unsavoury people putting forth all kinds of evil on social websites, but not everyone! You really ought to be there giving the true Gospel message and upholding Christian morals. (If you are not familiar with Twitter and Facebook the younger element of your church will be able to explain and initially guide you in social website matters.)

Evangelising Growth Key: Pass on What You Learn

In some Chinese churches, whenever someone learns something they are responsible to pass it on to at least two other people, who in turn pass it on to two more. But then they are asked, “Who do you know who else needs to hear this?”

By passing on what you are learning about Jesus Christ the Kingdom spreads quickly.

If you are asked about your Christian hope, always be ready to explain it. But you must do this in a gentle and respectful way.(Bible study: 1 Peter chapter 3, v15-16)

Pray: That every Christian may be a “passer on.”

Could your church start a ‘passing on’ policy in 2011?

Not restricted by just word of mouth, but also by news stories of wholesome news and Christian achievement sent to your local, and sometimes national press, talks to local groups, posters, and local radio. A brainstorm with
members of your church will unearth more ideas.

The apostle Paul was always willing to adapt to whatever was necessary to get the Gospel out to the people. I want to be that kind of Christian and I believe you do as well.

You and I are living in one of the most unique periods of all human history. We have seen more changes occour in the last 10 years than many generations before us saw in their entire lifetime. And the years ahead are going to produce even more change – Opportunities we can’t even imagine today.

Christian churches and organisations should plan to take full advantage of every technology available in the next ten years to continue spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

It’s an evangelist’s dream- come-true! For the first time in history we can make the Gospel, Bible study aids, inspirational materials and Christian literature accessible to literally billions of people: Instantly, affordably and simultaneously. What a day of opportunity to help multitudes turn to Jesus Christ.

BUT...Although our methods of delivery are changing:
the message remains exactly the same.

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. There is none righteous, not even one.

Jesus alone can save sinners.

There is no other name given under heaven by which any person  can be saved.

For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Son, that whosoever believe in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life!

We dare not squander the opportunities God is giving us

Paul became a servant to all. To the Jews he became a Jew - to those under the law, he became as one under the law – To the weak he became weak. Paul became “all things to all men” that “By all means” he might be used by God to save people.

(3) Life Church.TV - Open

FAQs

Q: What is LifeChurch.tv Open?
A: LifeChurch.tv Open is a site where churches can access, download and use creative content for free. It includes much of the creative work that the staff at LifeChurch.tv has done over the past few years and will be updated with new content going forward.

Q: What type of resources are available on this site?
A: The content includes, but is not limited to, message series artwork, themed videos that are used to promote and brand a series (provided in full resolution) message outlines, and layered graphic files.

Q: What does it cost?
A: Absolutely nothing.
We do require that you agree to a license agreement (it's free) and that you use the content in a non-commercial manner in an effort to "lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ." We do not want attribution (our name or brand to be on it). If we want anything it is to hear about how it impacted people in your church or community...please come back to the site and let us know.

Q: Why is LifeChurch.tv making this available for free?
A: We are passionate about changed lives and if there is even a chance that some of our creative content is useful to other churches in a effort to reach people for Christ....we are extremely excited about the opportunity to make it all available.

Q: So I don't have to mention that I got this from LifeChurch.tv?
A: That's right. You can use the content in your church and we actually prefer that you do not give us credit. Basically, you can pretend it's your own.

If you don't yet have a church web site, but are thinking about one my we suggest that you might find relevent information by clicking the link , to be taken to our 'Your Church Website' pages. Meanwhile for immediate web build info: http://mybusiness.1and1.co.uk/xml/order/diyselect?k
